7 p.m. Concert in the Park, a free fiddle concert at Maffeo Sutton Park in Nanaimo. All of the Nanaimo Fiddle groups will be playing some tunes from beginner to advanced and there may even be some dancing.

11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Cycle Art event at Maffeo-Sutton Park. Bring your bike, picnic lunch, and art supplies. To follow will be a 'Downtown Discovery Ride' scavenger hunt.

2: 30 p.m. Brigadoon Dance Academy: Pride of Scotland 2013, at the Port Theatre. Over 100 Brigadoon dancers perform with special guest pipers and drummers. Tickets $18, $10 children, call 250-754-8550.
