11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Nanaimo Brain Injury Society and Nanaimo Citizens Advocacy Association invite you to enjoy homemade soup, buy a homemade bowl and make a donation to these two societies. For more information call 250-753-5600.

1:30 -3:30 p.m. 'Take Back Your Power,' a documentary film about the risks of smart meters and the global smart grid. The film plays at the Eagles Hall in Ladysmith. Admission by donation. A 90-minute documentary by Vancouver filmmaker Josh del Sol.
