10 a.m. - Noon Gabriola hosts its farmers market at the Gabriola AGI Hall, South Road.
10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Kids Expo at Country Club Centre with face painting, crafts, entertainers, giveaways and a bouncy castle. The event is free.
12 - 4 p.m. Nanaimo BC SPCA hosts an open house. Veggie burgers, salads and refreshments available by donation. The vent is free at 2200 Labieux Road.
5: 30 p.m. Eat your fill at the Nova Scotia Lobster Boil at Lantzville's Costin Hall. Steak, lobster, salad and dessert are available for $30. There will be live entertainment and a silent auction to fundraise for Nanaimo Christian School.
7 - 10 p.m. Anela Kahiamoe Hawaiian music at Acme Food Co. at 14 Commercial St.
SUNDAY, MAY 26
